This practice holds solidarity for the movement for Palestinian freedom.
While acknowledging that many other peoples' traumas may be stirred to the surface in this moment, my heart goes out to the people of Palestine. People of the Palestinian diaspora, and often those in the SWANA diaspora as well, are witnessing horrors occuring to their loved ones while living safely in a country that supports that violence. Many are experiencing difficulty sleeping, eating and/or going on with life as usual.
We are not meant to hole this grief and rage alone.
